Just had to write in after using my 5.2 Ezzy Panther ltd for the first time on Saturday afternoon between 18 and 25 + knots.
I can't believe just how good it felt. Super light in the hands and sooo stable with very little downhaul.
I was on my 95ltr which would normally slap around in those bumpy conditions, but since the rig was so light, the board just cruised over the chop. While everyone else was changing kit, I was still in complete control.
The difference to the old 5.2 '07 Wave SE is massive. Same in some ways, but smooth ease of use is 100% better.
I can see these sails making a massive difference to my sailing over the coming year as they give back so much confidence I hadn't realise I'd lost until I used the 5.2.
I tested the new LTD Panther in April this year in Maui-its lighter than the panther 3 (same sort of wieght as most other brands 4 batton sails). There is some extra shape in no 2 batton which give improved upwind performance.Feels very light in your hands just like the the panther 3 and is built in same high quality way.New colours look very decent-have ordered the red black ones myself.
