Testing 09 Sails

The conditions at Wittering have been firing for what feels like weeks now. This has given us some good time on the 09 prototype Ezzy Sails that we have available for demo.
Yesterday (Monday 7th July) was a particularly good day with some nice vertical ramps breaking on the sandbar giving some great launching ramps for backies and the like.
The sail in the photos is the new Ezzy Wave Panther (4.7)...

Graham Ezzy's West Wittering Visit

Graham Ezzy was at West Wittering Windsurf Club on Sunday 1st June showing off the brand new Ezzy 2009 sails.
He gave us all a rigging demonstration as well as giving us the chance to check out all the new gear.

Graham Ezzy Coming to West Wittering!

We know it’s a bit last minute but Graham Ezzy, son of Dave Ezzy (owner of Ezzy Sails) is stopping at West Wittering Windsurf Club en route from Maui to the PWA events in the Canaries.
It is literally a flying visit, but he will be at West Wittering Beach on Sunday (1st June) from Midday onwards showing off the brand new 2009 Ezzy Panther and Free Wave sails and giving a rigging demonstration...

Aaron Hadlow visits West Wittering

Three times world Kitesurfing Champion, Aaron Hadlow came to West Wittering beach to test out his signature model kite which goes into production for next season. He arrived on a windy day using a 7.0 kite and pulled of some massive powered handle passes and mega loops. New Ezzy Sails 2008

For 2008 Dave Ezzy has improved the SE with a flatter profile and more forward draft, the sails have a more balanced feel with less back-hand pressure. The sails rig similar to the 07 range but are less outhaul sensitive. They still have a huge outhaul range, 7 to 8 cm for strong winds and 3 to 4 cm for light winds.
For 08 the tack pulley can be replaced with a d-ring for those people who want to use a pulley hook...

The Red Bull Storm Chase

The Red Bull Storm Chase is billed to be the most extreme windsurf show ever.
12 Sailors from 9 countries will be competing. Each sailor will be ready and waiting between September and mid November for the biggest storm of the autumn to hit Northern European beaches. When the storm comes through, each sailor will rip it apart at their local spot and be filmed.

Peter Hart at West Wittering
