Frequently Asked Questions

Do you still get a tan using PROSPORT products?
Yes you still tan using PROSPORT - the formula filters many of the harmful rays of the sun.

Why is PROSPORT so unique, compared to other suncare products?
The formulation of PROSPORT allows you to develop a tan while filtering out most of the harmful rays - the product is 100% waterproof and sweatproof and will stay on for up to 8 hours. It is effective within 2 minutes of applying to the skin and is a light, non-greasy lotion which goes on clear. It takes care of all the frustration of reapplying sunscreen during the day as it only needs to be applied once!

Can you use PROSPORT on children?
Yes, children of the age of 6 months and over (children under 6 months should not be subjected to the sun at all). The unique formula is ideal for kids, it is 100% waterproof, sweatproof and sand does not stick to it. It is easy to apply being a water-based lotion, non-greasy and it won't sting your eyes.

What does SPF mean?
The number of Sun Protection Factor (SPF) tells you how much longer you can remain in the sun without burning when wearing a sunscreen. For example, if you generally tolerate the sun for 15 minutes without burning, then an SPF30 will provide you with 30 times that, or 450 minutes of protection without burning.

What does UVA mean?
Ultra Violet Ageing (UVA) rays penetrate the skin deeply and are the primary cause of premature ageing to the skin and can cause skin cancer.

What does UVB mean?
Ultra Violet Burning (UVB) rays damage the surface of the skin, causing sunburn. UVB rays can also cause skin cancer.
