Testimonials
Jon Derbyshire
Position: Olympic sailing coach - Sydney Olympics 2000
"Every day, my morning routine included washing, shaving and applying Prosport Sunscreen - Ben Ainsley spent about 3 hours each day racing- but we were on the water for anything up to 8 hours - and I never needed to reapply my Sunscreen, or even worry about getting burned - however much spray I got doused in! Real peace of mind - especially as I needed to concentrate on other matters!!" |

"Sailing and teaching for 8 hours a day under the desert sun for weeks at a time is the severest test for any suncream. But I have to say that 'Slopes' has left me bronzed, blemish-free and totally irresistible to the opposite sex." |
Pauline Swain (Mother/Model)
"Having been a keen fan of P20 for the past 6 years, I tried Prosport and now only use this product because it requires applying once a day and I can completely rely on it to protect my skin thoroughly. I also use only Prosport on my 5 year old daughter as she is very fair skinned and I need a product I can trust." |

"Prosport is by far the most reliable, non-hassle suncream that I've used. I rely on good sun protection in my work as I am outside all day and with one application in the morning, Prosport does the job and then some. Non greasy, water resistant, effective UV protection and not smelly - what more could you ask for from a suncream?" |

"As a semi-professional sports person who windsurfs, snowboards, kiteboards and rides mountain bikes, I've used various sun blocks. All the brands (even water proof ones) require constant re-application throughout an active or non-active day. Yet, Prosport is the only sunscreen that I've found I can apply once and forget about; even when being total immersed, dragged and spat out! This is a real bonus as I get so excited I've been known to stay out on the water for 6 hours at a time. One other major advantage is the fact it's non greasy; I don't get sun tan cream all over my kit, especially after applying it." |

SOME OF THE OTHER PROFESSIONALS WHO USE OUR PRODUCTS
 |
Simon & Jane Bassett
Children are always a very special part of any family and sun protection has been accepted as an essential part of care whilst on the beach or out during the day.
When Jane and I decided to take on Prosport as a distributor it was only after we had used it as consumers on ourselves and Holly, who was 18 months old at the time. I initially purchased Prosport, Factor 15 for windsurfing as it allowed me to windsurf all day in the sun without the problems of washing off and my equipment becoming greasy and oily. I also purchased some Prosport factor 44 which I used on my face and shoulders - I also used this on Holly who was in and out of the sun all day. To be honest, we wouldn't risk our child's skin for any amount of money and it worked for both myself and Holly really effectively.
The beauty about the Prosport product is that you can put it on once and you don't have the problems of reapplying it on a sandy beach. It is important, however, for pale skin and children to use a high factor sunscreen all the time they are exposed to the sun. |

Customer testimonials
Hi Simon
I spoke to you a few weeks ago and had lots of questions about Prosport, which I did eventually purchase. Thanks very much for the information and time you gave my enquiries, it was very important for us to chose the right product as we were taking our 15 month old son, Kai on his first trip abroad.
We have recently returned from a fabulous holiday in Turkey where the temperature on most days was in the high 30's to low 40's and thanks to this marvellous product neither Kai or my fair skinned other half had any problems at all, despite being out for most of the day. It was so easy to apply, and an absolute godsend to know that my son was not going to burn & ofcourse not to having to reapply lotion throughout the day. For extended periods of time, Kai did wear his UV suit however I feel confident now that he would have been more than adequately protected withjust the Prosport.
Many thanks once again.
Alison

Question
Dear Solrx,
Last autumn (your fall) I bought a 6oz tube of ProSport Waterblock SPF 44 and used it during a very hot and sunny climbing trip in the Italian Dolomite mountains. During this I was exposed to long periods in very strong sunshine and was concerned as I am, what we describe in England as "starting to go a little thin on top"! I need not have worried. Despite warnings from others I never even turned pink. I still have plenty left in the tube but would like to know how long I can safely continue to use it before the protection starts to reduce. Please can you answer this for me? With Best Wishes.
Answer
Richard Winter
Richard,
Thanks for the comments on the product's performance last year. Will forward to our UK distributor (you will see our Pro Sport, which is a new formula with organic aloe base, fragrance and Parsol 1789, begin to show up on shelves in UK this spring, with new blue/organge packaging. Meanwhile, the WaterBlock is usually good for at least 2 years. You can tell when it goes bad in that it starts clumping up and will develop a foul odor that you would not be pleased to wear in company of others. We're making a new batch of WaterBlock #44 in March so can mail order to you this spring as you need more. Thanks,
Steve
