2XS & X-TRAIN TERMS & CONDITIONS
At 2XS we strive to give you the customer the best possible service when purchasing goods – to make it a hassle-free and enjoyable experience when buying yourselves some goodies. When using our website to purchase items you are agreeing to be bound by the Terms and Conditions which are set out below and we ask you to tick the box which is included on the transaction window to confirm that you have read our Terms and that you agree with them.
This couldn’t be easier, select the products you wish to purchase by depressing on the “buy” button. At any time you can check the contents of your shopping basket by going to the top of the screen and clicking on “basket”.
When you have completed selecting the goods you wish to buy you then go into the secure online shopping section where you give your personal details and credit/debit card information.
Alternatively, you can order any of the goods from our website, offline by phoning 2XS on 01243 512552, open Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
Under the Consumer Rights Act you have an early right to reject goods that are unsatisfactory quality, unfit for purpose or not as described, and get a full refund.
But this right is limited to 30 days from the date you took ownership of the goods (this could be the date of purchase or the date the goods were delivered to you – whichever is later).
After the initial 30 days, you can’t demand a full refund in the first instance, but you still have the right to a repair or replacement”
TUITION BOOKINGS COMPLETED ONLINE
Cancellation of a tuition booking must be received in writing 21 days prior to the course commencing, after which time clients will forefeit their course fee. Course date changes must also be made 21 days in advance in writing – this will not incur any costs.
2XS reserves the right to cancel course or change availability dates due to weather conditions, or any other technical issues. In these instances, alternative dates will be offered or a refund. We reserve the right to change lesson type from group to private if under 50% full and shorten the course accordingly.
We will contact you in case of adverse weather or inadequate conditions – once a lesson is booked presume it will go ahead unless we contact you.
*All kitesurfing lessons are subject to correct weather and tide conditions. The lessons are taught around low tide and we do not teach in off shore winds. Our lessons will go ahead unless you hear from us that the forecast isn’t looking suitable. This is the nature of the sport and something we have no control on. If lessons are cancelled, we will rebook you in the next available slot.
There is a fee to park at West Wittering Estate which is not included in 2XS course fee.

Unfortunately, there are a few exceptions to the above rule – heavy luggage, Indoboards, SUP’s and Kayaks – we are really sorry about this but due to the sheer size and weight of these products we have had to increase the delivery charge:
CREDIT CARD PAYMENTS
We accept Visa, Delta, MasterCard and Switch. When ordering the address given must be the same as the registered address to the credit card that you are using. We require a land telephone number (not a mobile) when placing an order so that we can contact you should we have a problem with your order. We carry out thorough security checks on all orders.
ORDER CONFIRMATION & DELIVERY TIMES
Once we have received your order we will confirm by email that it has been processed and the expected delivery time. For UK mainland delivery on large items we use a courier which takes normally 2-3 days. For smaller packages we use Royal Mail which can take generally take up to 5-10 working days. For international orders we will quote on an individual basis.
We carry a large stock of windsurfing, paddlesurfing and kitesurfing equipment, clothing and accessories, however, despite our best efforts, sometimes a product can sell out – should this be the case we will inform you of the earliest delivery date. Please inform us at this time should you wish to cancel the order.
Any items which are returned for refund or exchange must be received back at 2XS, Beaver Lodge, Bell Lane, Birdham, Chichester, West Sussex, PO20 7HY within 14 days in a new and unused condition and with the original packaging intact. This should be accompanied with the receipt and a Returns Number which will be given to you by a member of staff quoting your invoice number when phoning 01243 512552. No goods will be accepted without an authorised returns number from 2XS. In the unlikely event that any of the goods we have supplied you are faulty then you have up to a period of 30 days to return.
We regret that we cannot give refunds for carriage on incorrect purchases and we strongly recommend that you use a recorded/insured delivery service when returning goods as we cannot be held responsible for goods lost in transit.
Online/Mail Order Goods
In addition to our Returns Policy, under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, you have the right to cancel your order up to 14 days from the day you receive your goods if you are an online, mail or telephone order customer. You then have a further 14 days from the date you notify the retailer of your cancellation to return the goods.
When placing an order from abroad we will require the following details from you:
Your full name, address and telephone number (including the international dialling code) so that we may contact you if we have a query with your order.
We can only send international orders to the registered billing address of your credit/debit card. We will require faxed confirmation of that address, ie. the top of a recent credit/debit card statement – to enable us to carry out our credit card security checks.
